     NOTTINGHAM, UK--Two cousins, Paul Thacker, 30, and Simon Morgan, 32, spent and-a-half hours to make a 59cm long and 39cm wide cream biscuit - setting the new world record for the Largest Custard Cream Biscuit.

     It took Mr Morgan and Mr Thacker, who is executive chef at the Park Plaza Hotel in Maid Marian Way, 11 and a half hours to make the giant custard cream in the restaurant's kitchens, even without a first attempt before baking began.

      Simon believes his attention to detail and Paul's know-how as a chef were key ingredients.
