Cinderella's Escape
April 21, 2015The story starts by introducing the characters of Cinderella, really Anna Maria, a then five-year-old child, who is in the hospital. She soon learns her mother passes away.
A wicked woman named Priscilla is whom Anna Maria learns all details from this point on. Of course this story has two stepsisters, Marcella and Stella.
Anna Maria's father's name is Peter. She knows him to be a hard worker and travels a lot. Her mother's name is Janey.
The story progresses through Anna Marie's life spanning over four years time. In those years you learn a few things, such as Priscilla is a very wicked person and the stepsisters run very close behind her in their own trickery and lies. Anna Maria's father is likely fooled because the stepmother is thoroughly cunning and deceitful.
An air of mystery encircles every word of this book; it keeps you reading, because you know unless you do you'll miss out.
As Anna Maria is able to leave the hospital, she silently has so many questions. She is sad her mother is no longer living and her father is quickly sent away by Priscilla. "Where was Priscilla taking me? And why was Daddy silent, looking sad and lost and letting me go?" Anna Maria's only question she utters is, "Daddy?"
